Describe the result you want
Explain where the current lighting falls short. You might want more useful light over a work area, a different arrangement in a refurbished room or an outdoor fitting in a new position.
State whether your request concerns replacement fittings or a proposed layout change. Describe which lights you want retained, moved or removed, and whether you’re interested in different switching or smart controls.
Fittings and unfinished decisions
If you’ve selected lights, include their names or model references. Mention any controls you have in mind as part of the requested scope. If you haven’t chosen products, describe the appearance and use you want.
For an energy-efficient lighting project, state that aim in your message. Include the existing lighting you know about and any products already suggested, without needing to supply technical measurements.
Identify decisions that remain open, such as the number of fittings or the proposed positions. Your enquiry can begin with a description of the rooms and the result you’re seeking.
Include the wider project context
Tell us which rooms or areas are involved and mention planned refurbishment or decorating work. Include dates and access arrangements already known, alongside your preferred timing for the electrical work.
You can also describe an existing lighting problem in the same message. Identify that concern separately from the changes you want to discuss.
Send your lighting installation enquiry through the contact form, including the Manchester property and proposed work.
